Henry and Elaine celebrated their 45th year of marriage on February 4, 2006. They have five children: Daniel , Andrea, Wendy, Christina (married to Peter Marcucilli with children Anna, Michael and Tony), and Peter. Their family dogs are Colby, a soft-haired Wheaten Terrier, and Teddy, a Border Collie.
